hi well Im back after my month of being sent to Coventry , and boy did i miss dp. I did post a lot in my own thread and did not know i was doing bad , but now im back i looked at that same thread and see that they do let you know in the post that you have a warning ,in the bottem right hand corner of the post comiting the offense would be a small box for a warning the color is yellow and an infraction the color is red . I just wish i had seen the warnings then i would have not posted any more. still while I was away I built my self a forum ( not for webmaster ) but for cement. and also I joined some other forums so i could carry on with my on line life, but in truth none of the other forums i went to could compair to dp so its good to be back , and mods i will be more careful with my postings. Regards nickspain
I was banned for a day because I decided to rate every single thread in general chat 1 2 3 4 5 4 3 2 1 2 3 4 5 So that the stars went in patterns and Shawn had to run a few million MYSQL queries to fix that.
w3bby if our resident expert on being banned. i think he holds the record for number of bans while being allowed to return. and yes, i have been banned in the past, i caught a 2 week vacation once, it was terrible.
Lucky you. In July 2007 I was hardly here due to being banned for most of the month. Painful experience, I learn my lesson
ine never been banned... yet but i have had a telling off, i started a new thread in the wrong category.
Getting banned means you have accumulated 10 infraction points so if each infraction is 1 point you must break 10 rules to get a temporarily ban. Seriously , getting banned once is acceptable but more than once it means you don't know what you are doing!
