got some great tips on how to submit to those hard to search engines. BACK DOOR ENTRY AND MY FAVOURITE DRAGGING
THE BACK DOOR ENTRY METHOD OF GETTING YOUR WEBSITE LISTED WITH LETS SAY "BING".THIS IS MY PERSONAL TIP I USE.GO TO http://www.ciao.co.uk/JOIN UP AS AN AFFILIATE USE YOUR WEBSITE TO PASTE THE CODE.JOB DONE
Very strange post as Lycos and Hotbot do not have their own indexes, so not sure how you would be able to add your site into them. Seems suspect at best.
If you go to http://lycos.oodle.com/ you can join up there.join up with every thing pointing to your website.you will see it being listed in lycros.do the same with bing go to http://ciao.com affiliates and join there
I think Lycos have there own database, but i am not sure so don't hang me on it But hotbot are using others database so it is bit suspect, and the two search engine WAS popular so why bother to get indexed by them
the point im trying to make is getting your website or blog noticed, the back door entry method isnt suspect at all.lets face the facts it can take months for some SE to index you so go in the back door.As for dragging your website you all know about the blog website stuff so i wont bore you any longer.
The first link is a site that Lycos has sitting on top of Oodle which in no way is part of their search index, the second link is to a group of merchants that Bing brought into their cashback program when the company was bought - NEITHER of them affect the search indexes. Not sure why you would think this to be true, but am really curious to hear it. Lyycos and HotBot do not have their own indexes anymore, they both use other engines for their data.
