    Is there any variation in this............ In my number of sites back links has been decreased...............

    Can you tell me something about this, after you exp..

    @cutenancy... i dont see anything like that... well for checking backlinks... the best tool is http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ you might just want to give it a try

    link: domain.com

    instead of

    link: http://domain.com

    probably you will get to see the difference

    pure link??? meaning... links: domain.com displays all the sites which are linking to your site.... and http://domain.com shows the number of sites which have your site listed with this URL... hope m able to make this clear dear... :) however as i suggested earlier... checking http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ for backlinks is the best idea... as it also gives the anchor text with which you site is linked with from other websites

    Backlinks for our website has increased in this PR update. Prior to current PR update, we have 21 links for our website and now we have 86 baclinks in Google

    i just used that site and i started my site in may and gained 1778 backlinks according to that site, i earned PR2 recently.

    They always fluctuate up and down. Most dont even get accounted for.
