Azoogle Toolbar for IE on Windows Vista

Hello,

Has anyone managed to get the Azoogle Toolbar for IE to work under Windows Vista?

I have the toolbar installed at my work under XP and works great, but when I try to use at home with Vista it doesn't.

Any help?

Doesn't work because of VISTA's strict security measures. IT crashed my Vista Computer

 

the security measures implemented on Vista is the reason why the toolbar doesn't work. However I am pretty sure you can manually give "administrator" permission to certain files, which technically would make the toolbar to work.

I am just not sure how.

 

Did you run the installation program with administrator rights?

To run something with full administrator rights right click on the icon of the setup program or IE and click "Run as Administrator". Try that and see how that works.

 

When I have the toolbar installed on XP under either IE or Firefox, when I close down the browser it freezes for like 15 seconds. Anyone get this?

 

The only fix to make the Azoogle Toolbar to work under Windows Vista is by unckecking the box "Enable Advanced Security" under the security tab on IE7.

Lots of add-on doesn't work because of that extra security on Vista.
