Azoogle stats accurate?

I noticed the last couple days that my Azoogle stats are showing almost twice as many clicks as my PPC accounts are charging me for- and that's the only way I promote. My PPC's are all set for pacific time and azoogle is eastern, but the next day my azoogle ads are again double, so I know that three hour window isn't generating half my clicks.

My rep said it could be clicks from international users that were redirected to another page, but all my CPC campaigns are set to show for U.S. only. So even if a few international people clicked my ads, it wouldn't double my clicks.

Is this something I should be worried about? Moneywise, it's good for me, cuz they obviously aren't clicks that I am paying for, but does anyone know why this could be happening?

    Jondoe0069,

Did you recently switch your links from another network to Azoogle? We count our unique clicks on a per-affiliate basis, so its possible that some of the clicks you are receiving through your PPC campaigns are non-unique but to Azoogle they would be counted as unique clicks as its the first time the user clicked through an Azoogle campaign. Hope that helps?

    Thanks.

No, I actually just started affiliate marketing fresh. My campaigns are all new.

I know there's sometimes a delay in reporting from the search engines, so I've waited to see what has happened over the last couple of days and it's showing a little less than twice the clicks on azoogle as my SEM account clicks total.

I'm not too worried about it, unless I shoud be?

If you are not already, tag your links with a SubID and see if all the clicks are coming in with that SubID. It is possible that someone else is promoting something and they mistyped their link so they are using your link instead of theirs. This would be nothing that would hurt you but there may be some other newb wondering why he is paying for clicks that never show up in azoogle.

Azoogle has already been very very accurate at tracking unique IP clicks, in my opinion.

Feel free to IM or message me if you need a better explanation.

    Jondoe0069,

I would do exactly what testonej has recommended. Add a subid tag to each of your links within your search campaigns, and you'll be able to see if any one of them is reporting many more clicks through Azoogle than you're seeing through the search engine.

As long as you're being billed for less clicks than you're generating, you're in a good spot. You only have to start worrying if we start showing less clicks than you're being billed for :)

Let us know what happens if and when you add subids.

    Cheers.

Good idea. It's gonna take awhile to update all my ads, but it's worth it for better tracking.

For now, I think I'm ok though, because today I'm being charged for every click... which sucks cuz nothing is converting anymore.
