True, but the campaigns were reasonably labour intensive - I can keep them up quite easily but I'd rather focus my time on my organic traffic... Basically I think my time is better spent on other advertising methods...
Do you mean that min bid price on all the groups have increased? Increase quality or increase bid to X dollars? I say google makes it a hard playing field.
No, I mean the keywords aren't ones that can be kept for a long while - not due to quality score, just due to number of searches (this is a BIG hint as to what type of keywords I was using). There are also a finite number of keywords that get enough impressions to be worth using...
Ok, let me explain this again: 1) Campaign took a fair amount of time to manage 2) Wasn't much growth potential, maybe $500 per month in revenue tops 3) I make more per hour working with organic traffic 4) I have a finite amount of time to spend Ok?
I think I see where your coming from. It's a balancing act between going for long tail searches which convert well but don't send much traffic and get deactivated, and going for keywords which get more traffic but don't convert as well and cost more. If your looking for growth markets I don't think that would be ringtones. How many affiliates are you up against. Although you would have to be optimistic having doubled your money on your first PPC attempt? I still don't get why you would stop the campaign though, if it's making you money. Why wouldn't you just stop it when it starts becoming unprofitable?
He was hinting, that he was using "seasonable" keywords, meaning they are effective only for a defined period of time. In this case, no more than two weeks. Reshuffling keywords every couple of weeks for this kind of money is simply doesn't worth his time.
Ahuh, I thought the hint was referring to long tail keywords. Instead of us guessing, just be upfront
Those 100 dollar vouchers that you bought, are those the ones for new accounts, or you can use on multiple accounts. I don't want to open a new account.. Nothing that might ruffle the feather of Big G
Only new accounts. I think I now have 3 account with Adwords and they don't seem to have a problem. I mean, you're advertising WITH them, so I highly doubt they'll ban you or anything unless you go crazy and open 20 accounts with vouchers.
same CC As I said, don't go overboard, but it's not in Google's best interests to ban any Adwords publisher, unless they sign up dozens of times with new accounts.
I'm wondering why you stopped too? You could let this run in the background and try other tactics, couldn't you?
As I said, the campaign took a fair amount of time to operate. I make more money spending that time on other traffic generation methods.
Wooohooooooooo good job. I've been a ghost in the affiliate community for months now, so I'm just stopping by and saying hi
