My personal contact at azoogle is emailing me each other day to get me to start promoting azoogle ads on my sites. He is pretty stubborn. Do those guys get a cut from their personal clients earnings? Is that why he is so stubborn?
He's just doing his job. If you opened an account, then they would at least like to see an attempt at you promoting stuff. And I don't think anyone knows for sure, but I think AM's do get a cut of their affiliate's earnings. Probably very small though, but enough to want them to push their affiliates to succeed.
They send a mass e-mail to all there affiliates that they manage thats why they are called affiliate managers. They are only trying to help you make more money inturn makes them more money. They just tell what new and hot offers are out. So if you don't want help send the guy a message tell him you don't want to be e-mailed
Sure they get a cut. I don't like being over-managed either; if you ignore some of the emails or write back quite a bit later they tend to get the hint.
@login, I didnt promote a single offer for the first 3 months I was with azoogle. I am just now sending in my W-9 form, so, I dont think they kick you out. But they wont bother to help you much if you arent even trying. I didnt get a single email the whole time I was signed up from my AM.
i'll give props to my new manager, sent me email introducing himself, called me twice, and emailed a performance report. much more than any of my priors every did. props to mine
I'm pretty happy with the relationship level I have with my AM. Not too much and not too little. I'm pretty sure AMs get some commission or bonus of the affiliates they manage, they also compete among themselves over promoting some offers.
