There's a lengthy thread about this subject on WickedFire (under Affiliate Marketing) that's been going on for months. A lot of people are not getting paid from EPIC. Once you stop traffic or if you're small volume they are not paying. If you continue traffic and have some volume they are paying late. Definitely not a good sign. What company wants to screw over their affiliates and generate bad blood so they must be having serious cash flow issues. Usually these things don't end well; heed the warning signs. And there has been no central communication from mgt there (lawyers probably told them to be careful what they write/say). I'm still owed for July and August. Was told everything would be normal after October but that came and passed and they're still not paying. Now I can't even get a response from my AM. A lot of good AMs left recently for other companies (which says a lot too) It used to be promises, excuses, promises, but now it is silence... I did high xxx,xxx last year with them so I'm not a huge affiliate for them but I'm not the bottem of the barrel either..... Anyway, I've moved on to doing business with other companies that are paying on time. It's good to hear what other affiliates experiences are so keep posting if you're getting paid or not getting paid by them so everyone knows what's going on there. If you're still doing biz with them -- use some sense and set a credit limit that you're willing to lose each week or month (depending on your pmt terms) and then pause traffic once you reach it until they pay you so you don't wind up losing more than you can handle if they do go under.
Got the first official response: EMG Said: Thank you for reaching out to the Advisor Team. To touch on the topic of payments, Epic Direct has been undergoing some key structural changes. We expect these changes to have an extremely positive long-term effect on the way our business is run, and more importantly the way we treat our publishers. As for your outstanding balance, our payments are being paid out manually at this time and I cannot give you an exact date as to when this will be released. We thank you for your patience up to this point. We truly value you as a publisher and want to secure a long-term relationship with you. In this spirit, depending on your payment threshold, it may be best for you to pause traffic until we can guarantee timely payments. On the other hand, if your business is flexible and can sustain under these conditions, then we would love to continue working with you. We want your business to be mutually beneficial so I hope this email will help you make an informed decision. Regardless of what you decide, I hope that when our payments are normalized, that you will allow us the opportunity to make it up to you.
I contacted with Audrey @ EPIC media and had a talk with her, She assured me my payment will be made soon and that she'll do her best to get it done, Seems like they've listened to her and today I've got an email notifying me that I have been paid. I've checked the payment section and it now shows my payment with a description "Payment Processed - Awaiting Bank Confirmation" I still am being skeptical about this, I will post when i literally get paid. I hope you guys do get paid ASAP. And I hope we can have biz with epic in the future.
Same here. I'll believe it when I see the payment in my bank account. --- EDIT: Payment received. Done and dusted. Goodbye Epic.
Status just got changed from "Payment Processed - Awaiting Bank Confirmation" to "Payment Complete" But still not in my bank I know this means my bank has confirmed the payment but still, I would wait to announce that "I have been PAID"
Yes i knew if its showing like that, that does mean I got paid. Reason why i was not so confirmed was another thread somewhere here on dp explaining this situation that a guy had this status but still he didn't get paid for a long time, anyways, I did get paid... finally...
This is not good, at all. I too have been waiting to get paid and they have been about a month late. I'm taking my non-incent business elsewhere F these guys.
Thats great. I am also planning to do some work this month with them and see if they pay or not. Although, there is no dues in my case to them.
Please keep us all up to date with this. Epic was a good earner for me, but I've be burnt twice already. I'm not going back in the pool until: 1. Somebody takes the floating turd out of the water 2. The girls jump in 3. Digital_shubhi tells me the water is warm (eeewwww!)
I started off strong with Azoogle, but for some reason, it seemed like ad clicks slowed down. I've never received a cheque with them.
I mailed them about some offers and till now no answer even after 8 days & 2 emails. Looks like they are not replying to emails as well. :|
I give email , call . anything that I can try , no any reply. what's going on ? should I remove all azoogleads tag ??
I haven't been paid since July. Not big dollars; but still. My AM had the nerve to email me about generating more traffic last month. I'm like, sure, if I can get paid what I'm owed for the last 7 months. She says she'll look into it; then I never heard back. Screw Azoogle / epic advertising.
