Hi Guys, I just wanted to update you on my state of affairs with Azoogle. After days of conversation with my rep we have finally sorted through the 2.0 issues. It turned out that many of the ads I was promoting were not tracking or converting because I was using the wrong tracking URL. After days of testing and trying offers, and after going through different campaigns and suggestions with my rep I can see that tracking is back to normal and I am converting as well or even better than with 1.0 Thanks for all your help... Regards, Gibran
I'm glad someone is having luck with Azoogle, I'm still not back on track. Though my situation is different then most peoples. I was running an offer from 1.0, I was then switched over 2.0, I made no immediate effort to switch the links for an affiliate landing page offer I had running through Adwords, Adcenter and Ask Sponsored Listings because my 2.0 transition email said that 1.0 offers will continue to track for 3 months. So, I'm along like normal and i'm not seeing any clicks, I check my PPC campaigns and i'm racking up bills for these campaigns. I get kind of curious, check my reports, that offer isn't even on there. I talk to my rep, telling her that I cant find the offer by its name, she does some poking around and tells me what offer # it is....Well, that offer # doesn't seem to exist in my control panel. So it seems the entire time since I have been on 2.0 my offer hasn't been tracking. I immediately pause all PPC campaigns. My rep talks to some higher ups and they agree to give me some credits based on traffic for my troubles, she gets the offer to show in my control panel and i'm thinking everything is great so I flip my PPC campaigns back on and not a day later the offer is once again missing from my control panel and doesn't seem to be tracking. I'm not mad, just slightly irritated...
I'm still seeing some tracking issues. I send a unique tracking ID (sub) for all clicks to Azoogle offers. Every click is logged in a database. I've had 4 clicks for a particular offer today. - Of the 4 clicks, only 3 show up in Azoogle reporting - Of the 3 clicks that are recorded, one 2 show a sub ID
I have got little more than 100 clicks today for Ringtone offers... Not a single one converted to leads...This has to be 2.0 problem...Otherwise atleast 15-20 convert from my experience.
symmetric, Our system will only track UNIQUE clicks, so even if you click 50 times our system will only show 1 clickthru for the unique user. As for the subid, are you sure the click had a subid?
I'm having the same issue, like 1/3 of all my leads show no subid anymore, wasn't the case with 1.0 All my ppc urls have my tracking parameters and keyword, out of 1000 sales so far 300 have no subid, azoogle tech says it's my code that doesn't inserts the parameters correctly, but i had no issues before 2.0 and didn't changed the code. I simply parse the url and insert the variables into the subid. Sometimes i have the feeling nobody listens to my problems over there.
marcowitsch, Please doublecheck that you're using the right syntax. It used to be &sub=xxxx now its ?sub=xxxxx Are you using the question mark instead of the &? Thanks.
No as i said above out of 1000 leads so far approx. 300 have no subid. So there definetely are subids that gets entered correctly, but i saw this issues started after i was taken over to 2.0, including a lot other problems i don't mention for now on a public forum. Point is, my script worked for months and now my code is wrong, says tech... P.S: means i'm using the right syntax ?
xboxundone, my offer still isn't tracking and I still have my PPC campaigns paused until the issue gets resolved. Alex, would there be a way you could look into it? Id be happy to PM you or talk to you on a medium of your choice if the public forum doesn't suite you.
Sorry to hear of your problems. but i made my suggestions as i dont work for azoogle. so i would suggest going the route u are thru your AM or Alex to get it resolved as it appears there is some issue either with your links or on AZoogles end...
AlexAzoogle - I hadn't noticed the new url change before i saw it on this thread. Will the old urls continue to work? Strange, i never recieved a notice or email about the change.
The older Azoogle links will continue to function for about 3 months. We sent out about 10-15 reminders about this over the past 2 months. If you aren't receiving Azoogle messages you may want to check your mail filters.
