Just a reminder to those of you starting out... Azoogle does NOT condone CL advertising (direct links being posted). You MUST use your own intermediary page/domain.

That is something you'll need to test out on your own.

I have been running stuff through CL with Ads4dough and haven't had a problem yet. Maybe you want to try using them.

However, MitchAzoole told me that links posted on Craigslist are not allowed. Luckily, i'm not posting links on Craigslist. I use intermediary pages and email marketing, depending on each offers individual requirements.

Just curious, does this entail posing as a hot chick and wait for horny young men to email you (thus the gmail vacation responder) and state something like,"Hi, I just posted a nude picture of myself but it's not showing up on my browser for some silly reason. Can you sign up real fast for free and see if it's there..."? Now anyone would be suspicious but the key of course will be it is a young man and his horny ambitions will short circuit his common sense.

I heard about that as a chat room tactic...

Not quite... First off, the gmail vacation auto-response is useless for Craigslist traffic. Part of what you said is correct, about short circuiting common sense... however, that can be used in many different ways. More often than not, it's beneficial to them anyway!

Yeah, that's exactly what I asked my AM. She said no posting on Craigslist should be related AT ALL to an Azoogle offer.

That being said, some other affiliate networks allow this...so it's still probably a decent method, I'll just stay away from Azoogle.

Maybe I misread something but I thought gmail autoresponders were the way to use cl. Anyway, I would not use azoogle for risk of being banned.

Gmail autoresponders don't work on craigslist... Gmail doesn't respond to CL at all.

yeah...I noticed that...after about 50 messages had come in

Doing the whole "I'm a sexy chick who wants to get together, just sign up here and we can be together" thing is pretty slimey. It would sure be nice to make money without being totally unethical and deceitful.

Luckily promoting dating doesn't just encompass Craigslist.

However... isn't every adult dating site out there based on the exact same principles?

I guess you could just manually reply with copy and pasted messages... But how else is it done?

You are actually doing these guys a favor. Legitimate dating sites will get them action a lot faster than craigslist or other free personals.

I remember a post/ebook, etc. from here at DP which was advocating promoting the dating/adult friend finder ads.

Basically, you DO post as a hot lonely chick then wait for clicks to come in. I haven't tried this yet, but it sounded promising

Ya, I tried telling myself that too...

What you (or anyone else who does this) are doing is lying. Period. I don't feel good about it - that being said I'll probably still continue to try it out and see how it converts for me. Maybe I'll trying being slightly more honest and seeing how that works for me.

Actually I have not tried this, but was considering it. But I know if I did try it and made an easy $400/day for a few posts I would rationalize the earth flat.

Hey if you make $400+ a day, then does it matter if the earth is flat to enjoy it? :D

You could also steal money for a living. If you could make $500 daily from theft without the possibility of being caught/punished, would you still do it?
