As I check out landing pages of some advertisers some take customers to non-related landing pages like a camera phone takes you to am smiley central page. What is that about?
It is more than likely that you have clicked on an offer that is exclusive to USA and you have been redirected to an offer that is available in your country.
mediatang - I guess to further explain that they click on a banner of cell phones and are taken to a smileycentral . com site which is not related at all. dealasite - don;t believe that was warranted regardless if directed to me or other
Probably because there is no cell phone offer available for your country. OR smileycentral.com is the default redirect for your country.
Before you are taken to a site that is "not related at all" you are shown a message that says something like "the offer you have selected is not available in your country, we will now forward you to one of our partner's sites"
That clarifies. If they are re-directed and make a purchase on that site is commission trickled back to me? I suspect not. Suppose I can wait till rep is in AM to ask these questions but if ya know the answer feel free to enlighten me. Thanks.
That is something I have also wondered, but since you are sending the visitor you should get credit for it
I just got into the control panel tonight looking it over testing where they go to etc when clicked etc. Like what I see but hard to find ringtone carriers up here through their interface that actually would not re-direct as I'm trying to target Canadian ring tones. Suspect my rep will save the day tomorrow
Yes it is a redirect due to country or the offer expiring. You will get credit IF they signup for that redirect sometimes do they signup though especially if it is a similar offer redirect
You get credit for the redirect just like you sent them there yourself. I am not aware of any Canadian Ringtone Offers on Azoogle, so if that is your target, you will get 0 conversions.
Thanks yeah rep confirmed re-directs will be paid if product sold etc. If wanting to get into Ringtones more than likely be PPC through Google, Adcentre etc for me
