I was trying to use an Axis Bank eWallet VCC (virtual credit card) to add funds to Namecheap, but it doesn't work. First, I tried it using the normal credit card option. Copied and pasted the CC# and CCV. Even though VfV (verified by Visa) was set, it didn't ask for my VfW code. Instead, it just said: Unable to add funds to your account Your credit card was not approved. Please make sure you enter valid credit card information. More Info:Restricted Card I have tried this 3 times total, with 2 different Axis VCC's. Also the amount was much less than the equivalent Rs. amount (2000 Rs. VCC, trying to add $10 funds). Note: eWallet VCCs work for me on Indian sites like Homeshop18.com. Then I tried with Google Wallet, and it says: Your current payment method is not valid Please enter a new payment method to complete this purchase. Has anybody been able to use an Indian VCC for foreign payments? What a nightmare. Also, does the address need to be exactly the same? Indian addresses are difficult to fit into Western address fields.
Yes, its a problem. SBI, HDFC and Axis Bank VCCs don't work on international payment gateways. Try using your original CC, it might work!
This matter should be solved in the bank. I think you can not solve it like this. You should try the different ways.
