    Hi,

I tried to verify my PayPal premier account using Axis Bank ATM/Debit card. But PayPal is not accepting this card.

    Anyone know about it?

Whether Axis Bank ATM/Debit card can be used to verify the PayPal account?

    Thanks.

No, you can't use ATM/Debit card. Only credit card will work.

You can verify your indian pp account only using valid CC. You can't use any indian debit cards for that.

    DON.

My friend is also a resident of INDIA only and he used his Axis Bank ATM cum Debit Card to verify his account. I'm surprised  But while trying for my account it is not working :( Really confused about the system.

I think to verify account, you can also verify using bank option, since now paypal accepts verification as a part for indian bank accounts. So you can easily verify account.

For indian paypal accounts you need 2 things.

    Credit card to validate account
PAN card to confirm account and withdraw funds

Afaik bank account verification hasn't been resumed yet , so credit card is the only option to verify the account.
