I have received a mail seems from my Bank not actually not.

This is the actual Bank's Website:
    www.axisbank.com

    and check this:
    http://www.era-info.es/components/com_expose/expose/swf/axisbank-security-update/1/axisbank.com/

We can see the link to axis bank, but while I click on it, send me to the above fake URL

    https://www.axisbank.co.in/BankAway/SignOn.aspx?RequestId=714870 actually redirecting to http://www.era-info.es/components/com_expose/expose/swf/axisbank-security-update/1/axisbank.com/

I noticed firefox gives a warning while I visit this site then why this type of site can not be banned? How come they do that?

    yep its a phishing site
whenever you get the mail telling that they have limited your account or you have got some gift
it is surely a phishing site
anyways these mails are not a big risks
because these mails are from local banks so it is less risky as compared to pp and all that
because local banks in india usually dnt sends mails they will communicate directly via phone

DUDE dont u get it ! .. at times of UTI it worked ...

AXIS BANK no more works with paypal

You CANNOT it use to VERIFY or basically add funds(as verification charges 1$) your account!
Withdrawal can be done to ANY bank in India comes under that IEAS (or watever it is called...The RBI RULE!!)

call up axis bank and ask them if you can use your card on their site they will say NO!

It has been canceled recently is what the customer support and PRIORITY CUSTOMER - RELATIONSHIP MANAGER said
    (i had a priority account)

i did use my card on YAHOO BUSINESS but DOES NOT work on PAYPAL!

I can post atleast 10 links from various websites with people complaining the same thing!

Probably you are talking about Debit Card....

friend, can you tell me name of any Indian bank does work to verify paypal using their card? State Bank of India's debit card also don't work. As far I know that Indian debit card can not be used to verify paypal-- I had seen somewhere at the paypal site, try to find out hope you get the info.

BTW, if your bank's debit card does work with paypal then don't forget to inform us the name of the bank and card type, it will help many Indian to verify their paypal account :D

Use credit card or VCC, not debit card.

I can post more than 10 links that Indian Debit card don't work to verify paypal.

Are you talking about Credit Card or Debit card?

As I know some persons whose debit card (Issued in India) from these banks (HDFC, ICICI) are not working, as I was interested too to verify paypal with debit card. Finally, I have come to know that Indian debit card does not work with paypal. They accepts US debit card, for your info, I had also come to know that Australian can verify their paypal account with their Bank account.

But I am 100% sure credit card does work.

BTW, I am very interested to know if you could verify paypal with your debit card, not credit card, then don't forget to inform us.

HDFC debit card(visa gold international) also won't work to verify your paypal account. I have tried it and failed..when i asked my branch manager about it he said create a V CC(its called as NET SAFE card in HDFC) and verify your pay pal account. That card will work only upto 24 hours after creation. you can create that account visiting HDFCbank.com of course you need to have a HDFC bank account:p.
