I've used IBP here are my thoughts: It's a lot of fluff and poorly followed through features. The best use for it is to do quick and easy keyword ranking reports and simple tips on getting your site improved vs competitors. However the info they give you is very vague and I sometimes challenge the integrity. If your looking for something that can jumpstart submissions, optimize vs a competitor and can understand the details behind the generalizations than its pretty nice. But its definitely not a one-do-all tool. They're best tool is the top10 optimizer. This lets you do off-site and on-site optimization by looking at competitors. Lastly, the submissions for engines are very poor. They have a few hundred I guess, and do update their lists, but I sometimes get the feeling that they made a few of the low end directories and included them in the list. No body that is optimizing a site more specific than 'video games' would benefit from most of the directories and engines they catalog. If they spent more time on cataloging directories and search engines, as well as providing more in-depth information on advanced optimization, the product would be well worth it.
