Awwstats. How accurate?

    Can anyone tell me how accurate awwstats is please compared go google analytics?

    It is waste and it is not much good. Just see this forum for free traffic analysis and that will help you...

    It's not working the same way anyway, awstats is analyzing your log files while GA is putting a cookie using javascript and tracking visitors with that. I used to think that data from GA was more accurate but maybe I'm wrong.

    If you can, install both, it is really easy.
