I used to rank #1 in google for my keyword out of 75 million results and my site's server went down for 2 days and i no longer exit for those keywords. I am going to lose a S**t load of traffic and money!

Have you checked the google cache of your page?, maybe the reason why your not in the top is not that the server went down.

I think you are unlucky .. because for only 'two' days downtime your rankings don't get affected.

Yes its the site in my siggy. Its been down and i dunno. I remember signing up with zoneedit.com and they said that "transfer was complete" but i dunno what they are talking about so i deleted my site from there. So after noticing that my site was still down, i joined zoneedit again and set up new nameservers. I'm looking for new hosting though

I disagree, the same thing has happened to me and clients. Not always a complete drop out of rankings, but a big drop. Why wouldn't it?

I had the same problem. My hosting went down and I was out from G at my kewords for about a week. When I changed hosting I was back after 3 days at usual position.
You have to wait and everythink will be ok. Google can`t link to pages that are dead. If G find your site is back again you will have your previous position.

google must trust the website before showing it at the first page,

same thing happens with new sites, and now, your website is considered new by google, hope you will not stay too long in sandbox

Exactly. I had a look at your host (maxisgamer.net) and it's a free host that in my opinion is run by a couple inexperienced teenagers. You're just asking for trouble this way. What I don't understand is this; you say that you're going to loose "a sh*t load of money" and if that's the case, why not get a descent host? Sorry, but you get what you ask for don't you think?

wm007 I know what you mean. But then again this is my first try at a website and im not that experienced. My hosting is run by teenagers but then again i am one too. Anyways the site's back up and i have to wait till google indexes it properly.
