Awstats...

    Hey guys.

Usually, when I setup a domain or addon a new domain, awstats used to acknowledge straight away and then allow me to view the Awstats for that particular domain. Now, it doesn't, since the last 3 domains I added on. How do I tackle this? How do I make it so that Awstats works with my latest addon domains?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Did you ask your host about it ? If AWStats for the addon domains is part of the package they offer, they should make it work for you.

I haven't contacted them yet, but I figure there is something I can do.

stats software configured by web hosts and provided for ALL their customers are generally useless.
The configuration file is generally specified in file path of which you or you domains are not allowed access to.

Awstats may in fact be capable of providing extensive insights in an enviroment of which your capable of a custom configuration.

Same applies to most other analytic softwares.

the domains you added, are they going to the same log file as the others ?
if so that might be it. Also make sure that awstats has read/write access to where the data is stored, as well as read access to the config files, that is one of the common things to stop it from showing stats.

No ideas powerspike, I think they have read and write access - I need a step-by-step guide though, as I've never done this before. :D
