awstats Vs adsense numbers

    Here is question bugging me for a while.

    I get an average of 2000 pageviews a day.
    Adsense shows less than 1000 impressions.

    Doesn't every page view count as an impression ?

    awstats's too different than adsense.
    if u have 2 adsense banner on ur website, 1 refresh's 2 adsense impressions.
    also, u should use Google Analystics.
    ...and then awstats keeps ur admin control panel stat too.

    Still don't understand.

    I have an average of 2 adsense blocks per page.
    So, based on what you say, I should get more like 4000 impressions.

    I have a suspicion though.
    say, if the same ad is shown on 10 pages, all to the same visitor.
    does that make it 10 impressions or 1 impression ?

    Many People Use Ads Blocker Nowadays maybe adsense ads are getting blocked that way
