AWStats not working on IIS/Plesk 8.1

AWStats hasn't been working on one of my IIS servers since it was provisioned (several months ago). The server is running Win 2003 R2, with Plesk 8.1. The AWstats page for all sites on that server (located at sitename.com/plesk-stat/webstat) was showing the page saying "If this page appears more than 24 hours after the site was created contact your administrator...etc" But, I was screwing around with things a few days ago and now I am able to get into AWstats but it doesn't look like it has been updated in weeks (since May something) and stats were only generated for 2 days in May.

I read on some other forums that this has happened to others (I think it is related to Plesk 8.1?) but I can't seem to find the solution anywhere...

    Thanks in Advance...

There is an option in awstats to give force update to stats.

Dont know the exact command though, since I tried it months ago. Use that and stats will be updated till the time you do force update.

I do not know the specifics of Plesk, but anyway, the AWStats update process needs to be scheduled somewhere in your system. A normal way to do it in Windows environments is with the Task Scheduler: you run the update every day at the same time.

The task scheduler shows the stats update in there, daily at 3am. So it should be running.... but it doesn't seem to be. It last ran on June the 7th.

Try the same update command from the command line. You will probably get some error messages.

For Linux Plesk's you need to run the following command to update the stats forcefully:

    /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics
    Code (markup):
You might need to run the same thing for windows too, but need to find out the location of statistics file in windows. I have never used windows plesk, so i m sorry, i m not sure about it :(
