Awstats - missing days at the begining of the month

    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone can help us with a problem we are having with awstats 6.8 running on win 2003 server. We host numerous sites on our servers and we run awstats every night so that our clients can see hw their sites are doing. We have a windows scheduled job that runs every night. We have a custom application we developed to update the log file path to the previous days log file. The process is quite simple really, we run awstats.pl and then buildstaticpages.

The problem we are experiencing is that, for example, all of the september stat will run fine. October stats will start running fine and then at some seemingly random day the stats will start getting blank days on the stats.
For example we may have three blank days at the begining of the month and other days we may have 13 days blank.

All of the log files are there and we have managed to find a workaround but it takes a lot of work. We manually rebuild the stats using awstats.pl and we remove the faulty month's .txt files and THE PREVIOUS MONTH. When we remove the previous month and reprocess them using awstats.pl and build static pages they appear fine with all the days. We are then able to drop the previous months files into the folder and run the build static pages and all the stats are fine.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar and does anyone have any suggestions to resolve the issue as it is driving me crazy!

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

It seems more like a bug. If you'd like me to troubleshoot further, you can send me a PM with additional details.
