I'm on a vps and since I was moved on a new server, awstats is showing 0 everyday. I have quite a lot of traffic btw..anyone experienced this and can help? :-s
as already mentioned.. have you tried to run it manually? make sure the cron job is set up to automatically update your awstats.. if your cron is setup properly then check your disk space.. it's happened to me a few times when i run out of space.. though you have a new account and i doubt you have already run out of space.
1. check path to log file(s) in your awstats.conf . Since you changed servers it is possible that log is on different path. 2. check if your cron is set to do it's job, as already suggested
I have tried updating them manually using webserver user command via ssh, still showing 0 everywhere. Anyway, thanks all for trying to help, here's a bit of green coming your way!
Hi, What message do you get when you try to update from SSH ? There should be error messages or something like this: Jumped lines in file: **** Parsed lines in file: **** Found **** dropped records, Found **** corrupted records, Found **** old records, Found **** new qualified records. Jean-Luc
Check the format of the awstats.conf, the sequence of the items should match as they are in your server logs.
