Here is my stats with awstats yesterday 19 unique hits. I believe there is a bug in awstats for iis logs. I downloaded the logs and wrote a small script which excludes all bots and takes unique ips by ie6.0 and mozilla only which returned 690 unique ips. Analytics show around 300 so how can I analyse my traffic with such useless tools. I dont trust IIS logs either as sometimes it randomly stops logging. I'd reallly appreciate your thoughts about these inaccuracies and good stat analyzer recommendations for analysing my site stats more accurately. thanks a lot
I was having a similar problem with awstats missing days...and it was solved by running an update script everynight at 11:59 to update the daily file into the log file that awstats creates for the month. Otherwise, is everything unnecessay not being logged that the awstats setup for iis says??
