In the traffic statistics for my website there is a line in the table "Connect to site from". What does this line mean with the following statistics below? Origin: Direct address / Bookmarks Pages: 14439 Percent: 94.2 % Hits: 23094
It means they didn't not click on a link to get to your site. They either had a bookmark or they entered the address directly. But, what I don't know is... - Does a JavaScript link fall into this category? I suspect it does. - If I right-click on a link in FireFox and select "Open Link in New Tab", is the referrer still passed along, or is it also logged as a direct address/bookmark visit?
I dont see any co relation between this number and page rank eh.. just like SixSigma said: it's a bookmark link i.e. someone type in your site or just click from book mark.
