Awstat question: "Unique visitors" vs."Number of visits"

    Hi,
    I have a question about the Awstat, what does it mean "Unique visitors" and "Number of visits".
    The "Unique visitors" I think are the unique IP-addresses, who visited the site. Is this value "Unique" for the month or from the beginning?

    Unique visitors are people who were visiting your site that is unique/real.

    number of visits is the number of visits you have get over a month
