AwStat problem

    in AwStat under HTTP Error codes i get these messages,

    HTTP : Error codes* : Hits : Percent : Bandwidth

    206 : Partial Content : 65 : 53.2 % : 1.16 MB

    500 : Internal server Error : 48 : 43.6 % : 37.34 KB


    What are these errors and how to correct them ?

    solution: stop using it and start using: google analytics - awStats always has been a problem, especially on a shared hosting platform.

    Hi,

    In fact, 206 is not an error. It indicates a partial download. This is common with .pdf files or other files which are usually long and which can be downloaded in parts.

    500 is the "internal server error" code. This can be caused by a temporary server overload or it can indicate that there are bugs in a script on the server.
