HI! As I've learnt a lot on this forum I want to share an awsome link building strategy i'm doing with great results. 1. I use yahoo search to see my 3 or 4 competitors backlinks 2. They have many link exchanges so I sent an email to each of the guys who link my competitors 3. Some of them never reply but others do reply and with great results, they all link to my site 4. As i Have many sites, I did non reciprocal backlinks 5. I'm winning about 1000 links a week from many quality sites, that link my competitors (LOL), some of them related to my nich some of them are not, but similars 6. My site will become more powerful in terms of serps positioning and traffic than my competitors that's its, test it and tell me your experiencie with this awsome technique. cya goodfela
It's a good place to start, but to outrank your competitors long term you are going to have to focus on building links that take more effort, or links they can't get themselves. Build some profile links. Write aticles. Make videos. Make a podcast. Contact media that cover your niche and work with them to get a mention in an upcoming story.
I changed the title, word strategy by 'technique' strategy. This is one technique I'm doing, of course i make a lot of another techniques, this is not the only one, but it's effective.
Yes, doing three way, four way, etc. link exchanges looks like a good idea, but Google may detect this and regard it as a "linking scheme". Nevertheless, I do like your idea. I use Yahoo to find my competitors links, and then contact them as well. However, this can be very, very time consuming. Some sites don't have a contact link or email address, and many will never reply. A positive reply from one in ten is a realistic expectation. I also just do different searches and contact everbody who shows up in the top ten. This, however, is also hit and miss.
Why does google look down on it if it's legitimate links? Obviously something like a FFA page is trash, but a few links even?
1000 backlinks a week? Holy! If you can keep that pace up, why not go for a keyword phrase like "work at home"? Nice method though. Keep it up.
I'm quite suprised that this method works. I'm curious to hear from someone else if this strategy works for them as well. Good job though. I may have to give this one a shot.
I have a couple of sites and blogs: Site 1 Site 2 Site 3 Site 4 I put links on sites 1 - 2 - 3 and ask the webmasters to link Site 4. It's impossible to consider it as 'linking scheme'. link exchange cant be reciprocal. And it's not so much time consuming.
Hi goodfela thanks.....thanks it is one of great ideas to promote sites. i m going to apply it on my sites.
Its a good way to promote your website. But i am not backing up that link reciprocal is too much effective. What you are doing is three way backlinks and that is still effective. I think knowing much about your competitor is quite good and this way it is going to help you huge.
Try it. People who exchanges links sometimes before, will be glad to exchange with you. And you'll be gain a lot of advantage to your competition. For Google, is a one way link, and that's what matters. Best luck!
I've tried it and very time consuming. I would suggest using a tool (e.g. SEO Elite) which provides you the authority sites for targeted keywords. The tool provides PR rank of each site so that you can better focus. The downside is that these established sites don't respond very well especially if your site is low on the totem pole!
