Hello, Lately I've been much more obsessed with statistics like CTR and CPC when using Adsense. What I've come across is that my Skyscraper sidebar ads are performing horribly in comparison to the other ads on the page. As per Google's TOS I can't post exactly what the rates are, but just keep in mind they would make many experienced Ad gurus cringe. Here is the specific page where I'm having the issue: http://www.kovacicsminecraft.com/modpack-windows.php It's about halfway down, relatively close to the content the user's would be focusing on. Just to experiment, I tried an Ad that would fill up the entire sidebar rather than being stuck in the middle like that. It yielded about 3x the CTR, but only about a third of the CPC, so it evened out with the smaller Skyscraper. Here is an example page with the larger Ad (again, about halfway down the page): http://kovacicsminecraft.com/blog/march/KMP15.php?view=blog So all I ask is: what is going on? Is the positioning off? Any thoughts or suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks, - Kovacic
Hey, So this is a problem that adsense does sometimes, they look at the conversion rates for your clicks that you get and if they are not good the CPC tend to decrease. Also look for using text links only as they give you more CPC compared to images. Good Luck, Ivan
