    I signed up and got a few links for my web design company, http://www.slingshotseo.com, and it may be a coincidence, but we now rank #1 for 'Indianapolis Web Design'.

    This is not a phpLD directory and I wonder if that makes a difference to Google.

    Thanks for the post Slingshot, I appreciate the great feedback.

    As some of you might have noticed, the direct links in the listings have been removed due to Google no-link-buying policy. But, I'll soon be adding direct links back with the upcoming site redesign when I add a certification process into the system. The certification puts the links back in line with Google's policies and ensures all design-firm-seekers of the quality of the firms in the directory.

    Also, SEO-Watch, $100 is the price for a listing in higher traffic pages. Current prices range from $20-$100 (will soon be $10-$150) and there will be a completely free listing option available (no reciprocal link required).
