I think it is a fantastic offer. BUt what happens after the first year? It will be an hassle trying to switch hosts again

 

Why would you switch host if you are happy with the one you use? Even if its $10 a month, thats like 3 beers. If you can trust a host, good uptime, good support, is that not worth 3 beers?

So, I'm in the middle of uploading my site, suddenly FTP transfer stops, and doesn't work anymore.

Since then, I can't connect to FTP server: (IP censored)

[R] Connecting to *.*.*.* -> IP=*.*.*.* PORT=21 (attempt # 1)

What's happening here? And that's only day one of my hosting...

 

Quick update: Some minutes after posting this post the FTP opened again, but till then I had a few hours of uncertainty. Can't say that I'm as happy as everybody else in this thread, but we shall see with time how happy am I.
