check the top banner out >http://www.salesforce.com/ man, how could he do it? wanna know if someone as good as that for my design. cheers, toby Ps: still looking for flash tutorial writesr pm me if u know one.
That animation certainly is awesome. I imagine the person who did it has loads of Flash experience and spent a very long time on it.
Couldnt he have made the animation in 3D Studio Max or some similar software, then imported the video file into flash, and convert it into a flash format. Atleast thats what i would of done hehe
hey, you have the poin, sonk. coz the graphic is pretty awesome with 3d effect. I haven't yet to try 3d max though.. hard, i suppose?
Ok. Even if it took forever to load in my browser...since my connection is slow...it have the looks of 3ds Max. The snowflakes seems like a Particle system effect.... Camera effect is pretty basic Max stuff as well... The snow in the ground looks like a standard primitive object...modified with Edit Poly and have a Bump Map applied to it. The Cube, in Max is kids stuff. *lol*....I have been working in Max for three years....But I am learning Flash now...couple of my friends gave me the Idea. Since Max can export any Image type which Flash supports.....Hey, why not try.
like anamul said box stuff is easy, but the particle stuff and animation would be a nightmare for someone new to Max, there are alot of more simplier software out there that you can get the same thing. Only advantage of using max is the rendering, which in this flash vid is quite basic. If you were good you could make it almost photorealistic But then you would not be making banners lol
i tried to make 3D in studio max but the images are not that good when I import it and transfer to flash, anyone can give me advice... thanks
It seems to change or i have bad eyes. Its quite clippy at first, but the second half where the grass pops up its very smooth. Save the file and open it up in flash, i dont know if you would be able to find out doing that???
Hmm, was heaps choppy for me. I like the idea, but it might be a couple of years before most people can watch it properly.
that's not so hard to inmplement. Animation made in some 3d software (maya, max) and then imported in Flash. P.S: works a little bit slow by the way ((
