Awesome Dedicated Host - SoftLayer

    I've done my share of posting bad web hosts, so I thought I should also give credit to a good company.

    I ordered a dedicated machine from SoftLayer a little over a month ago, and I have to say it's been smooth sailing ever since.

    These guys are polite, helpful, and COMPETENT! I ordered my server at 10:30 pm, got a call at 10:31 pm, and my server was setup by 11:15 pm.

    Also, I have had NO downtime, NO problems, and my server is fast as hell, as well as my uplink ;)

    So *cheers* to a company who cares about their customers. I hope they live long and prosper, they deserve it!

    Yeah no doubt softlayer is a real good company I am with them from last 1 year or so no problems yet.

    We have servers with softlayer from april 2007, and rarely they go down and the reason for the same is high load :) Make sure you use coupons for free ram upgradations or extra backup drives.

    I have been with SL since 2003. I have 18 servers with them and have never had a problem, except for when one of my servers we having some hardware issues, which was resolved in 3 MINUTES! :D
