Aweber or Getresponse?

Which one is better? Does getresponse require double opt in like aweber? Also do they allow you to add emails manually (I hear aweber only allows emails to be added through their special forms)

I've only used Aweber. Been using it for around 3-4 months and very happy with it so far. The only thing I wish it had was greater customisation of the pop-up opt-in windows, but that's no big problem.

I can't post live links yet, so I don't know if this will work, but I actually put up an Aweber tutorial some time ago, so you'll be able to see some of the screenshots.

We use Aweber, too. It's doing fine. No idea about getresponse.

Aweber is the best I think. I haven't used Getresponse.

I am using Aweber now. Some time back, I have tried the free version of Getresponse.

Aweber is very reliable and I love its service and tutorials. Very easy to use and I prefer this to GetResponse. Don't quite like the interface.
