Thanks for the post. It would greater help the beginners if you could define what is bad title and navigation
yes pretty basic... I think those are good but more explanation would be better... also dont forget to get links and content... like articles...
Thank you for this post! I'm just new to seo so this would help me a lot. I'm curious though on #10... How would I know if a site is banned? Is there some kind of a tool for that? Thanks again!
Thank you for the post. BTW, if you hire services like sumbit to 1000 directories. How would you know if those directories are not banned link farms that will just penalize your SE-position? 'Not easy to follow the rules sometimes...
4)Wrong selection of keywords, do not use key word that are related to your website. *scratches head* I think you mean DO use keywords that are related to your website
thanks for the useful post, please do respond to the questions asked above, so that we would get the picture clearer.
First, If you are a popular news site, you are compelled to create many pages a day, not only one. Second, one page a day is excellent for optimizing????, what about two per day?, tell the New York Times not to create so many new pages per day, they will get banned !!!!. Third, if a search engine is ignoring your pages, might be because you don't have enough links pointing to your site, the more backlinks you get, the more relevant you become to SE. This is another mith, like, use only a 3.5% of keywords in your text....so not true. I've seen sites so poorly optimized and very popular at the same time, ranking for words one will never get, unless, again, you have hundreds of links pointing at your site. Something else, you said submit pages per day?????, who told you that you actually had to submit your pages?, you only have to submit your main url. you submit pages to social bookmarking sites, and it's there where google can detect them and index them. The more I analize this sentence the more mistakes I find.
Number 4 and number 9 are really stupid points... and I disagree with them all the way. Other tips are good for everyone to remember.
