Awakening change in the way content writing is offered in DP!

    Hello,

First of all, sorry if I am posting this thread in wrong section...

I am a member of this reputed forum for last two years, endowing content writing service for
respected members. Coming to the core of concern here, I had posted one thread about declining
rates of article writing to the bad extent in DP. For last three months, I have noticed in service
section that so many members are rendering their writing services at asinine rates ($2 for an article
with best quality). Is that rate fair rate for Quality writers? Obviously not!

Sadly, I had posted one thread in copywriting section, but no moderator there to survive service
    section.

Here, is my link http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2490950 and also other reputed members are demanding the same thing (DP mod have to add some paid features for posting a new thread as the thing is, when I post a new thread, it goes down quickly, while others are offering their service at insane rates)

    Waiting for your prompt reply!

    Thanks

    --Dilon

Not sure what your actual question is... you want your thread to stay at the top even though others have also posted?

Is it possible to set Moderator at content creation section to survive this section from the writers who post thread at below level rates and then provide low grade work, only to make things worse for genuine writers who are with this forum DP for last few years or make it paid feature to add thread?

Thats not possible. If you are providing good work then no need to worry from your competitors even though they are offering cheap rate.

I don't think he want to tell that. But his concern is to make service section as paid section rather than free for all members. I guess after taking this step lots of people who actually don't know what is content writing will stop giving all bullshits. And as per my view, this is the only way by which we can save lowering reputation of Digital Point. I am saying this because recently i saw same incident in 1 other reputed forum specially for content writers. After taking this step the revenue of that forum goes on sky also by this step buyers are getting exact services what they are looking for.

Though its just my opinion. :) MOD should think about it.

    Regards.

On of the benefits of being a premium member is that your sales thread stays at the top of the sub-forum for several hours. If the content doesn't sell you can also choose to bump the thread for more exposure.

I am agreed with you bandorsson. I am also feeling the same from last few months. I am able to see some members here who even don't know about writing work placing threads with foolish rates. I will not say cheap rate but must say as foolish rate as they actually don't know about the particular service and just placing lower rate then other members to get few orders ( some kind of business strategy ), then after some time they all vanish.

And because of this, good clients who are fucked up with this type of foolish services trying to search other alternative forums and in an all the good writers have to loss business here.

And if you would take my opinion MOD should think on it, as lots of good writers have already left this forum.

    Regards.

It wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to charge a small fee to advertise a sales thread.

What makes me laugh about this thread is that three of the people complaining about writers offering very cheap services can't even write very well themselves. (At least in terms of their grammar.)

I'm not a fan of the cheap, poor quality writing services either, but I don't really see any "simple" way of resolving this. Not even a pay to post a service system, as these writers will still post threads. However, it might make threads last longer rather than new ones being opened up again so frequently. (This happens on some other forums.)
