AVsoft hacked! who are they?

i receive the kim komando newsletter and read today about a software company AVsoft who's website was hacked. visitors were redirected to another site where they were infected.
who is AVsoft? i have never heard of them, what programmes do they produce?

How can this anti virus company protect their costumers if they can't even protect themselves ?
