I completely agree. If you don't want a response, then don't post a thread.

And technically, it's not *his* thread, it's the community's thread.

I hope that Mods are checking IPs or at least attaching a red flag to these kind of "members".

Back to the topic, I noticed that the sites that I have in analytics all jumped up in PR this update and the sites I'm not using it on stayed the same or went down a point. hmmm...

I highly doubt that Google will check sites thru Analytics, but then again, who knows the answer? Do you want to get something definite? ¨They might¨ is the only answer applicable here unless you work for Google and have inside information. Yes, people do suspect that occasionally high PR and high traffic sites get visited and that Google might access Analytics in order to find out what sites are doing to trick them into getting major traffic.

If your site gets very high traffic and you have reason to worry then why not do something to make you more confident that editors may like the site if they visit it.

Glorified phonebook or not, if it serves its purpose and helps people find what you rank for, I see no reason for you to get penalized if you´re being visited.

    That´s just my 2 cents. And no, I´m not a noob. ;)

sooner or later google's stuff is going to catch you irrespective of whether you are using google analytics or not since you said that you are in top positions for tons of keywords.I faced the same problem , i was within top 10 for some very competitive keywords using BH SEO but I was banned by them :(

It's far more likely that google will send someone to personally check yoursite because it's running adsense. Google don't care what sites use analytics, But they definately care what sites use adsense.

Clearly. That's why you're asking if Google will know about you if you use AdSense but not Analytics... It takes a lot of experience not to know that.
