Let this be a message to all whom wish to follow the persons path...

When you submit to these types of people you encourage them to
keep doing what they are doing and basically say its ok to steal and opens
the doors for others to follow....

I don't think it's enough to blacklist those who do what he did, but also no longer accept the ones who submit to directories like his as a part of our community.

 

I agree with you on this, these aholes don't give a stuff about blacklists as they only count for people who bother to go and look at them. Problem I see with blacklisting people who submit to them is people like anon and malcolm say they use submission services (why would they lie) and have little control over where thier links go. You think its fair they should get blacklisted for inadvertanly submitting? Nah. There must be another way.

 

I've just done a double check to ensure that im not listed as well - when im link building i don't actually tend to pay attention to the name of the site im submitting to as i've usually got between 20-40 directories open at once...

 

That's what you get for using submission services . Either way this thread should be left to die much like the OP's directory career!

You can send all you like anon, this prick doesn't seem to be paying any attention to anyone. I could shut him down pretty easy but its illegal so wont. Did he pay any attention to the cease and desist sent out to him, nope, best way is for everyone here to stop giving them so much frickin publicity, any publicity is good publicity for this tosser and we all seem to be giving plenty. Blank him simple as.

 

i said the message was sent to my *submitter* to not submit to such sites anymore when he notices and comes across them.

Many people who will see this thread in first page will not bother to check out the whole thread to see what is going on and will submit to this crap site from his first post.

It better to let this thread die. And eventually the OP's Directory will die too.
