Hi, I used to have my site in wordpress and it got hacked, so I moved to blogger but the warning is still on from AVG. When I moved over from wordpress I started from scratch, when I moved all my content over checking my images and so on. This is the warning I get when I try to view my site: I've looked in google and contacted AVG directly to see if they will remove my site from their "bad list" but no response. Does anyone have any suggestions or know what to do? Thanks cuteek
Thanks SSANZ, That's why I switched over to blogger as I was sure they were more secure at the time than wordpress. I will have a look through my posts again, if it's not that what else do you think it could be? Maybe this is why I got banned from adsense too? Wish there was some kind of code checker I could just throw my site through and see what it is. This is with my pimpmybarbie site by the way. If anyone else has any thoughts I would love to hear them... Thanks Cuteek
Do you have access to Google webmaster tools? If so log into there (if not create an account and verify your account). Once logged in see if you have any message about malicious content. If you do follow the instructions for re inclusion once you have 100% double checked there are no malicious softwares on the site. If I 100% remember correctly AVG uses the Google API for checking is sites show as malicious. Clearing with Google will result in clearing in AVG as well.
using a better AV is not going to fix the problem. Making replies without thinking, to get your post count up just makes you look like a newbie to the forums dolores06. You need to secure the script, find the malicious code which is creating the iframe to come up on your site. There isnt any quick programs to run, however if you were running Wordpress you could have simply installed a plugin from wp-admin and it will tell you what pages are infected. I highly recommend you get someone to look into this otherwise you will go around in circles for days.
Coffear, yes I checked that a couple of days ago I do have access to that and it says verified next to that site.???? There is no message of malicious content. I will try again. Yeah I don't really want to get an new anti virus as any of my readers using avg will have the same warning, and really its not fixing the problem. SSANZ I will try to get someone take a more in depth look at it but I don't have funds for this at the moment, that's why I am trying to have a look and see if I can do anything...
