AVG is a bad antivirus anyways, my friend tested 5 antiviruses with 100 virus pack, and avg showed worse score, what i suggest to you is NOD32 anti-virus, it's really good, even if it's cracked.
I agree with wisdomtool with the cracked statement. I personally would have a big problem with using a cracked virus scanner. I'm paranoid and would be afraid they'd have put some sort of keylogger, trojan, etc, there with the crack.
Yes I agree. Currently I am using NOD32 cracked version and it is working simply great. My system is virus free since last 2 years. BTW I've got my NOD32 license for 45,000 years . Therefore no tension at all from antivirus side.
I didn't have to worry about these things anymore, I don't use windows. Why not switch to a non-virusy os?
I remember one of their past major upgrades made me think you had to upgrade to the paid version. I dug around awhile and realized it was still free.
I also got a popup but just closed it immediately without reading it like I usually do with popups. That would surely suck big time if they discontinue the free version
damnbit i love AVG been using it for more then a year now. i would hate it when they start asking money for it
Lets see if it happens because I am using its free version..... If it will happen the I will look for the best alternative and how can one be sure of such news.... I have to look for it on avg website whether they have declared this or not... Cant believe on someone's word easily.... Don't mind
Were you able to update to 8 for free? When I tried, they were asking for a payment of $52. Is there a free option for AVG 8 too? I could not find any yet.
I have moved to kaspersky few months ago and glad about it. Lot better than AVG and I can tell that if they stop the Free edition then go for kaspersky. you can buy one year for 60$ license or 3 years for 120$. or use the trial with a trial resetter lol .
How annoying is this. I really like AVG and have been using ever since I have had this laptop. It's just a bit frustrating, If I wanted a paid solution I would have used Norton from the get go.
avira antivir is free for personal use and topped recent independent antivirus tests been using it for over a year with no problems.
