Averaging About 90,000 Visitors, Trying to Take it to Next Level

I've been doing this for a year but I still have problems articulating what I am trying to say lol... anyways

I have a site with about 250 keywords that we are targeting. Some of them with a lot of traffic and some of them with virtually none, and maybe 10% of them convert consistently... we place pretty well all across the board too..

I'm figuring I just need to turn up the heat and drive more traffic to the site to get more conversions.

What are some things I can do to break through this barrier?

Things I have done so far:

Blog that drives traffic to the site (updated daily)
    Article Distribution
    Article Directories
    Do-Follow commenting
Social Media stuff (Digg, Reddit, Stumble, Twitter etc)
    Press Releases
    Put Stuff on CL

    the list goes on....

    A few Questions:
    1) I have been doing all of these pretty consistently... Am I being too lazy with the social media stuff??

Should I be outsourcing a lot of this stuff to make an more of an impact? it seems like it would be a lot for just me to do at this point...

    2) Are you supposed to have hundreds of social accounts and move them up the rankings?? Would this benefit me if I made a lot more accounts?

    3) Is 30,000 visitors a week is a lofty goal?

Examine your logs to determine what people are using to find your site. It is my guess that there are some hidden gems in there. Start generating pages to target those terms and phrases.

I think you will be surprised. The real money making pages of one of our sites would at first glance appear completely off theme. As of today we rank #2 out of 3+ million pages on a two word search term that I would have never have thought about if I hadn't seen it showing up in our logs a couple of years ago.

Willy has a good point. Figure out which is your best sources of traffic and optimize them. Use the extra income you get from the optimization to increase traffic from less productive sources.

Rather than trying to increase your traffic, try to monetize your site better. Make a training course, ebook, or information product or subscription and sell that. Or seek out more advertisers to pay you monthly for space.

Yes, this suggestion is really great. Optimizing your traffic by utilizing the most and best sources is a good choice...
