Also, I think you should have a function that checks the length of the Ad Title and prevents the user from submitting the ad if it exceeds the max number of characters - I had the title of my ad chopped off and only noticed it after submitting my ad.

You have reached or would reach a junction. One road for "I love my topics, banners, etc". The other "Make Adsense money".

I don't know how to change it......Your idea is definitely great...Do you know how to change it???it will apppear more-targetted Google ads ....GOODDDDDD...

For those who are making the URLs more imformative like "tomato-is-good-for you.htm" rather than "12345.htm" will surely be rewarded well by the search engines

 

dlcmh, I have been looking for a resource that might explain how to do that as we have a few sites that use the "index.php?foo=bar" convention and would rather have the more formal URL, do you happen to know of a good one off hand? I'll check the other forums and search around, it's funny you bring that up as I have been thinking about this as well.

noob_king, looks like you've got quite a number of brand names on your site. Are they advertising on your site or are you just doing them a favour?

 

Andy, there's no specific site that teaches this. It depends on the software. For example, I use Wordpress, so in the Admin console, there's a switch of sorts that allows me to specify how I want the URL to be constructed. For other s/w such as Joomla or Mambo, the same applies. Try doing a Google search for the name of the software you use + "seo url" (eg Joomla SEO url), or ask in the forum for that software.

 

Yeah, your niche is not really a niche, but a saturated market. Best thing to do it find something to differentiate your site from all the rest.

but the traffic is still very very low....need to push up after my exam....
