I'm curious what the average amount of time people spend on your blog is for those of you who have blogs. What's the average amount of time visitors spend on your blog overall ? What is the average amount of time spent on your most popular posts ? Do these averages fluxuate wildly, or are they close to constant ? Do you have a target time, if so what is that target ? On my blog the overall average is about 60 seconds. My most popular posts range on average from 5-15 minutes. The overall average has been pretty constant for the past two months. Popular posts averages seem to fluxuate inline with the complexity of the post. (it's a technical blog) I'd like to have my overall average around 5 minutes.
My blog started this past thursday and the last few days I have received 40 hits each day. The average time spent reading is 4.45 minutes. Hopefully, my blog traffic will pick up.
