average SEO salary in california?

    hey guys,
    i am applying to work in several corporations as a SEO expert.. doing stuff like onpage SEO, link buliding, etc.

    what is the average starting salary for this kind of position in california? i am about to enter salary negotiations, and some good information would be very helpful.

    the jobs are in san francisco, los angeles, and san diego.
