That's why the USA is the target migrants' destination. As in example non-specialized workers in Mexico make less than $5 dollars a day, this is around $150 USD a month. McDonadls might pay more in this and other countries, I don't know though.
again romania... i'd say it's more than 300$. about 400$ i think it's the medium salary here. thx god i'm earning a lot more
The average salary to any country depends also on the cost of living there. Salary in the U.S. is a lot higher because the cost of living there is pretty high too. If you ask me, I wouldn't work in the States if I'd earn less than $2k a month. Why? 'coz then you can't afford much luxury eventhough you're earning about 5 times more. My sister worked in the States. She's a nurse earning about $4k-$5k a month, she wasn't that happy though so she quit. In the Philippines, if you earn about $500 a month, that's already a decent income. Why? 'coz living here costs far less than other well-developed countries. I'm glad there are many online jobs now. It gives us an opportunity to earn a very decent flow of money for lesser work.
Yes The average salary may $250 But Lot of people earning only below $200 in India, India consist of lot of villages , here lot of poor people only earn around $100 per month, But our country has some world TOP richest persons, like Mital, Mukesh ,Anil, etc...
The New York State minimum wage rate is $7.15 per hour. Cost of living depends on what part of the US. In the big metro areas like New York and Los Angeles 2k per month isn't that much.
America is a great country but I would hate to be poor there. At least in Europe we can depend on our governments for social aid and unemployment payments that help us when we don't have a job. Many people criticize the amount of taxes we pay here but it's always better than having to go to the homeless shelter because you can't afford to pay the rent. The government even gives homes to the poor, in many cases they don't even deserve it.
$650 A Week/Full Time job. OZ. I live in America most of the time. Little less, but in more valuable USD.
The poor manage to have cars, cell phones, cable tv, computers, 60" tvs and receive apartments and free food from the government.
I wish I was earning $100k AUD but that is probably around 3x more than what the average really is over here. I heard a while back from somewhere that the average Australia yearly income was around $30k (give or take a few thousand) which isn't very much considering how much things are. Pretty sure the only reason alot of people are able to survive is because of working upto or more than 2 jobs and or having both parents working.
Things are like that all over the world now. Before many people, even the average person, could work one job and have the wife stay at home to take care of the kids. Nowadays both parents work and the money isn't enough. In Portugal just like in the US, the richer are becoming considerably richer and the poor even more so. Bread increases 30% every year, electricity and gas go up but the salaries don't accompany those trends. A few years ago the Portuguese earned 70% of the EU average now that is down to 68%. We have many wealthy billionaires now, but we also have millions of citizens that can't afford to pay their homes.
Well it's Eastern Europe because in Western Europe it's not that kind of salary at all: you wouldn't even be able to have a room at that price In Western Europe IT salary is around 5000 Euros (7000$) but more than half is social charges (paid by the employer and partly by you) so you would receive about 2000 euros. 1000 euros will go for just having a small room if you live in a big city. Life is not cheap so not sure it's really better than in some low salary countries because you have to compare to cost of living
"1300€ in france (about $1,900 with this low dollar conversion)" Whaaaat ??? That's way too low, I thought it's 2-3 times higher.
