Can anyone tell me what the usual common price for developing a professional website is (say for making a company website). I just want to have a brief idea in that.

    Dynamic Website: 300-2000$

Thanks... Just to add one more question. suppose if I choose for the dynamic website and would like to have some 20 pages, what could be the usual amount of time required for the completion of the website.

Again it depends on the pages.

If you want to have a CMS build; you can add 20 pages in it in just 15-20 minutes. (assuming that you already have the content to write on to the pages). But the CMS will cost you much more (e.g. about 300$ for Wordpress)

If you want simple PHP based dynamic pages without using CMS, then 20 pages will take about 4-5 hours for a programmer to complete. (again assuming that he already has the content). It will cost you around 200$

If you want to use CMS with 20 pages other then the content pages, then these will take 1-2 days to complete. And will cost you $350+.

    Cheers :)

It really depends on the quality of work you want. Cheaper means ripped themes, inexperienced designers and unoriginal content. The opposite is said for high end design. You go with whatever you can afford or what your website really needs!

I remember reading this somewhere... "from £0 to £1,000,0000"

It depends on a lot (agency, company or freelancer? country? currency? quality? FULL REQUIREMENTS? etc) which is why most companies, designers or agencies offer consultations, questionnaires or a free cup of coffee at their office.
