    What is the meaning of average position in Google webmaster tools? Can someone please explain?

    That is the average position of your website url in the search results of Google.

    That is the average position of your website on the particular keyword in Google search Results. Its average position but not the exact position of your keywords.

    That's the average position of your website for that particular keyword in SERP. But main thing Google is providing an average position for an interval of one month. So, if you want to see perfect results you need to use filters for that.
