Average CTR - Such a thing?

    I know we have had discussions on CTR a billion times, but for those guys and gals out here with a substantial site 100k+ Page Impressions a month what CTR are you seeing. I know this is totaly dependant on your niche and how you play with your ads, so anyone who post their CTR, everyone else don't be bugging them about what their niche is or I'll have to get my stick out..

    I have one customer which I think does very well with a CTR 1.21%. Can it be better, not sure, we have been trying to get it higher and over the past 6 months its has paid off. So whats your CTR?:rolleyes:

    It all depends on the niche and the content of your site...CTR on some of my sites vary from 5% to 30%

    On average when I calculate the earning potential of a site I tend to be conservative and use an average CTR of 1%. I think that should be a minimum aim. Anything above that is just a bonus.

    My overall CTR for past 3 month is 3% on average. on daily bases it averages from 1% to 15%.
