Average Conversion Rate By Hop?

I'm just wondering about a very rough figure for conversion rate with CB? If I have a product receiving 40 hops in 2 weeks but no conversions is that normal?

I have about 200 hops across all products per 2 week period with no conversions.

    Is this normal?

40 hops in nothing. Average conversion is about 1% so 1 in 100 hops.

It depends on dozens of factors.

    - Traffic source
    - Country
    - Product

These are just some of the few VITAL factors.

I guess it's normal. I have been told that I need to wait until I reach 300 hops to make a decision on whether to stop using CB. I currently have around 60 hops and no sales. I'm thinking that even when I reach 300 hops I will not make a sale as the information in these e-books is readily available online and people know this. People are not stupid. I may start promoting physical products again, but this time with someone other than Amazon because their commission rates are very low.

The average conversion rate on clickbank is around 1% or less. You need to get at least a few hundred hops before you decide whether or not to stop promoting the product or not. After you have done this for a while with several different products you will learn what works and what does not.
