Can you plz specify your average monthly budget for Adwords advertising. A friend of mine asked me to build a website for his wholesale distribution business. He would like to bid on keywords related to spice and some other food items. For an average starting business, how much should I spend on Adwords, in INR or USD?
I spend about $500 per month on adwords, and im just starting so no revenue came out of that $500 unfortunatly! But im learning as I spend.
Probably about £100 per month - but it's best to use google's traffic estimator tool to get costings and likly number of clicks a day.
It really depends, you need to build out a fairly large keyword list and place it into googles estimator and you should be able to get a fair ballpark figure. Some people spend $10 a day others spend $1,000 per day. It really just depends on your industry and your wallet.
Thanks for the replies. @daniell Actually, he asked me how much he should invest initially. He have no idea about how much to spend.
like robert said. it depends on how much traffic your keywords get and how much your willing to pay per click. i was spending about $600 a day. but when i started i was only spending about $40. just all depends.
Make sure that you keep in mind roi and a perfect landing page is very necessary. Do keyword research before you setup a ppc champion. I am spending $50 per day and increase my budget on weekends.
i would definately find what is the advertising budget and work from there . its worth considering long term view as money spend getting your organic search rankings up will produce greater savings than just spending it all on adwords.
I am checking this from last 1.5 years and it is true that i get more business in weekends. This also depends on which types or service or products you are offering.
Impossible to say, as costs vary form keyword to keyword, and the amount you can pay per click is dictated by your site conversion rate and the average amount of money you make per sale - these are things you need to know. As an example, we're in travel and we spend roughly £25k pm
We may not be in the same industry but I also find that I get more business and traffic on weekends. Weird huh?
